Judd Allen


With over 40 years in the financial services industry, Judd Allen dedicated his career to fulfilling the wealth management needs of his clients. Prior to founding Allen Wealth Management, Judd played key roles at Edward Jones, opening one of its first offices in Mississippi and its office in the Carolinas.

He earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from The University of Mississippi and his Master of Business Administration from Delta State University. Along with postgraduate work through the University of Mississippi, Judd also completed coursework through the New York Institute of Finance. Judd held his professional certification as a Registered Financial Consultant, his Series 7, 24, 63 & 66, as well life and long-term care insurance licenses.

A proponent of continued education, Judd was also a former member of the Appalachian State University Graduate School External Advisory Board. He has taught investment and finance courses at both Delta State University in Mississippi and Appalachian State University in North Carolina.

Judd still lives in Boone with his wife, Patricia, where they are actively involved in their local church. Judd still enjoys drawing and writing. Prior to his retirement Judd authored the book, The Royal Seed, a study of Jesus’ genealogy. Judd was also a true globetrotter, having traveled extensively visiting over 70 countries across all seven continents.
